Heritage

Heritage is a blistering, one-act black comedy that explores the darker side of nationalism. It's Mayday and a group of misfit children are specially chosen to close the day's festivities but, as they gather together to rehearse the village anthem, all is not well. As the rehearsal breaks down they soon begin to suspect that they have been chosen for a far darker purpose.

Kojo Anim

Britain’s Got Talent’s stand-up comedy star Kojo Anim is heading out on the road with his debut UK tour. The 39-year-old was Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act on last year’s series of the talent show. Kojo is here to make the world laugh, sharing his funny observations and stories about life, parenthood and family.

Kehinde Wiley: The Yellow Wallpaper

The Yellow Wallpaper is an exhibition of new portraits by American artist Kehinde Wiley. This will be the first solo exhibition of new work shown by Wiley at a public institution in the UK and also the first to feature exclusively female portraits. The works feature women that the artist met on the streets of Dalston and offer a visual response to American novelist Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s acclaimed feminist text, The Yellow Wallpaper (1892).

The London Bookshop Crawl is hosting its annual celebration of bookshops of London. Events include Bunk Off and Book Shop, Bookshop Lock-In, Book Swap Brunch and various other events suited for any reader, as well as family events. The bookshop crawl has an amazing number of bookshops involved all across London so that booklovers can explore their own area but also discover new areas.
