  • In Waltham Forst there are 14 Covid-19 cases, in Redbridge 14, Barking and Dagenham 14 , and Newham 23.

  • Up to 40 stations on the London Underground network are to be shut. From Friday, the Waterloo and City line will shut completely and from Monday TfL said it would gradually reduce other parts of its network.

  • At yesterday's daily briefing, it was announced that all schools in the UK will be closed from Friday, March 2

  • Children of key workers and the most vulnerable, will still be provided with some form of daily schooling/care.

  • The London Assembly has cancelled its meetings with Mayor’s Question Time tomorrow the only public meeting planned until mid May.
