The other three took place at King George Hospital and Queen's Hospital, raising the death toll at their NHS trust to 77.

Barts Health NHS Trust remains the fourth worst-affected London trust.

Deaths at the worst affected - London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust - have now passed the 200 mark.

A senior consultant at Queen's Hospital, which is part of Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, said yesterday they were "coping" with the pressure.

The trust is even taking on patients from other hospitals and has been able to discharge a number of patients.
