A woman was allegedly assaulted in Harlow earlier this month.
Essex Police launched an appeal for information this weekend following the reported assault on Friday, May 15.
A woman reported that she had been attacked near a brook behind Hookfield, just off of the cycle path, at around 10.30am.
The victim, a woman aged in her 40s, is being supported by officers.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and would like to speak to a woman who may have interacted with the victim and asked her if she was ok.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote the crime reference number 42/69245/20.
