Every Thursday after our various domestic bins are collected, a man, who lives in our road, comes round to put the bins back very tidily from the pavement back into the house driveways. As he goes by he will pick up any litter either in the front gardens or on the pavement. He does this a couple of times the same day because the various bins are emptied at different times.
Because I am working at home in the front of the house I see him go by, moving the bins. He always puts my bins back in the same space/order as I keep them during the week, so he must do this for the other neighbours.
It is such a kind and neighbourly act that he does this each week and I always would wave and thank him if I see him. Every road needs a “bin angel” but we are the lucky ones in Northfield Gardens.
