Police have named the man who died following a drive-by shooting last weekend.

Robert Powell, 50, was shot multiple times from a car in Water Lane, Roydon, on Saturday, June 13.

He was taken to hospital, but died from his injuries the following day.

Police say the incident, which happened outside an address where a party had been held, is believed to have been a "targeted attack".

Police have also launched a murder investigation.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Jennings, who is leading the investigation, said: "First and foremost, our thoughts go to Robert's family and friends.
