A CAR was driven into another after two men were seen fighting in a supermarket car park.

The altercation sparked outside the Co-op store in Battle Road, Hastings, at about 6pm on Monday.

Two men were seen fighting in the car park before one of the men reportedly climbed into their car and rammed into the other man's vehicle before driving off.

Both men suffered multiple injuries in the incident.

He was interviewed by officers before being released on police bail until September 7 as enquiries into the incident continue.

Sussex Police have now issued an appeal for further information on the crash and fight as part of an ongoing investigation as officers look to establish the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

Police said that "enquiries also continue to trace the other man believed to be involved".

Detective constable Ian Dearling said; "If you saw this incident, and maybe also have footage of it, or if you have any other information, please contact us either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1331 of 10/08."
