Police have charged a man with murder following the fatal stabbing of Nahid Ahmed.

Metropolitan Police says it was called to Holbrook Close, Enfield, at around 12.40am on Sunday, September 13 to reports of a man collapsed.

Mr Ahmed, 26, from Enfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 43-year-old man who was arrested near to the scene has been charged with murder.

He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 15, and has since been remanded to appear at the Central Criminal Court on September 17,

Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, is leading the investigation and enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
