Director of Buses

Location: Central London

This is an opportunity to join the Surface leadership as a senior member, contributing to the strategic direction and success of the function in serving the needs of its customers, meeting its targets and delivering on Mayoral commitments.

In addition, it is a key role at a TfL level and the successful candidate will be part of a group of directors formulating and managing the delivery of strategy shaping the future of TfL and London transport more generally.

Licensing Team Leader 

Location: Stratford (but working from home during pandemic)

Salary: Circa £32,000

Managing a team of Licensing Administrators, you will act as point of contact for escalated items from your team and manage the day to day delivery of all functions relative to the service.

Depot Facilities Manager 

Location: London Trams Depot, Croydon

Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience

You will manage the operation of the London Trams depot facilities and the outsourced 1FM Facilities Contract / Agreement including all 1FM sub-contractors.

Ensure that facilities, plant and depot equipment are managed in such a way as to facilitate the safe and efficient running of the depot to support the business needs.

Ensure that the depot management strategies are aligned with the overall business objectives and that contractual performance obligations are met through the fair, reasonable and consistent application of contractual terms.

You will be required to be flexible in terms of working hours as some of the tasks will be undertaken out of office hours.

Human Resources Apprenticeship 

Duration: 2 years

Location: London

Salary: £21,846

Establishment Planning Timetables Manager

Location: Southwark

Salary: Circa £65,00 dependant on Knowledge, Skills and Experience  

The Timetables team are responsible for the development, design and production of LU timetables, as part of the delivery of service plans to the London Underground network. 

The successful candidate will be accountable for participating in the service planning process leading the development, coordination and implementation of the technical standards, train planning rules, processes and tools for successful timetabling and train service design.

You will attend meetings with senior stakeholders and using your service planning knowledge discuss, influence and agree service options that are optimum and sustainable.

Responsible for leading a large team and a large volume of projects you will be using your leadership skills to manage and motivate to meet tight deadlines and get the absolute best out of your team.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders and your detail oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills will ensure the timetable production process is compliant with specifications, scheduling principles and consistent best practice.
