Five men have been named and charged by Met Police with conspiracy to supply firearms.
The suspects were taken into custody following a 'proactive operation' by the Met Police's Flying Squad on Wednesday, February 24.
Detectives have since the charged the men, including one from Abbey Wood in Greenwich, with firearm offences.
On Thursday, February 25 the following men were charged with conspiracy to supply firearms.
- [A] Daniel Ngoo, 29 (23.05.1991), of Edington Road, Abbey Wood, London
- [B] Stephen Donkor, 44 (07.06.1976) of Seally Road, Grays
- [C] Malacai Aaron Yexley, 25 (24.08.1995) of Laindon, Basildon
- [D] George Clark-Chesaites, 32 (21.06.1988), of Laindon, Basildon
- [E] David Heal, 56 (25.05.1964) of Alexandra Road, Great Wakering, Southend-On-Sea
All five are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 February.
