Interactive map reveals Worcester’s most dangerous roads

Now it’s entirely possible to find out as an interactive map has revealed Worcester’s accident hotspots for motorists.

Crash Map has recently updated its site and now includes information about where car collisions took place in 2020.

The app uses official data from The Department of Transport, which it then inputs onto an interactive map.

It shows you where ‘fatal’, ‘serious’ and ‘slight’ driving collisions took place in your area.

According to the interactive map, more than 82 driving collisions took place in and around Worcester roads back in 2020.

However, some roads are more dangerous than others with multiple crashes taking place on them last year.

Did any fatal crashes occur in Worcestershire?

Sadly, five fatal accidents were reported in Worcestershire in 2020.

Primsland Way, Droitwich Spa

This accident took place in April involved three vehicles and there was one fatality.

The Worcester man died after his motorbike collided with a tree.

M5, Junction 8 Strensham Services and Junction 9 Tewkesbury

Last July, a man died after coming off the M5 and crashing into a tree.

Harvington Cross

In January 2020, a man in his 80s died after a three vehicle collision.

Goosehill Lane, Hanbury

A man in his 50s died after his car collided with a tree last January.

St Mary’s Ringway, Kidderminster

This crash occurred in January and involved two vehicles; there was one fatality.
