A 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life after falling from a residential building in Thamesmead.
The ambulance service was first called to reports of a fall from height on Titmuss Avenue shortly before 8am this morning.
The boy was rushed to a major trauma centre with life-threatening injuries after being treated at the scene.
An an ambulance crew, paramedic in a fast response car, incident response officer and trauma team were all dispatched to the scene.
Police said the boy's next of kin have been informed.
Inquiries are ongoing, although the circumstances do not appear to be suspicious.
