Drivers are facing more disruption in and around Enfield due to temporary street closures for roadworks.

Notices from Enfield Council in this week’s edition of the Enfield Independent details the extent of the closures and other measures that may be required while the works are carried out.

Clydach Road EN1 is set to be closed at its junction with Southbury Road for five days from Monday for utility works.

Vehicles will also be prevented from parking, waiting, loading and unloading on both sides of Clydach Road, as and when directed by signage.

Elsewhere on Monday, no waiting and loading measures are due to be implemented in Haselbury Road, also for utility works.

These are due to apply between the boundaries of Nos. 85/83 and 115/117, and 112/114 and 86/84 for four days.

More utility works are set to lead to the closure of part of The Close N14 from Tuesday.

These measures are due to last for five days and will apply between the boundaries of Nos. 20/22 and Nos. 8/6.

Berkshire Gardens N13 is facing a daytime closure for five days from August 9 for resurfacing works.

The road will be shut between its junctions with Wolves Lane and Green Lanes from 8am to 6pm each day.

Elsewhere on August 9, a three-day closure of part of Halifax Road EN2 is also due to start.

The street will be closed to motorists between the boundaries of Nos. 2/4 and 10/12, as and when directed by signage.

More utility works are due to lead to the closure of a section of South Eastern Avenue N9 for five days from August 10.

These restrictions will prevent vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting and loading from a point in line with the boundary of Nos. 53 and 55 to its junction with Sweet Briar Grove, as and when directed by signs.
