An Enfield man accused of stealing thousands of pounds worth of equipment from an O2 store and having a machete on him is set to go on trial.
Levi Mzuzi, of Clarence Road, has been charged with robbery and possessing a knife blade in a public place following an incident on November 12.
The 21-year-old is accused of robbing the O2 store in Holloway Road of electrical equipment to the value of £30,000 and is alleged to have had a machete on him without good reason or lawful authority.
He appeared for a hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 15.
Mzuzi is now due to appear in Snaresbrook Crown Court on December 13.
