A MAN is to go on trial after he pleaded not guilty to a number of child sex abuse allegations.

Lee Moses, 50, from Ebbw Vale, denied nine charges in total when he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court.

The counts he faces include sexual activity with a child, sexual assault of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Moses, of Lansbury Terrace, Beaufort is set to face a trial by jury on January 20 next year.

The case is expected to last six days.

The defendant was granted conditional bail by Judge Christopher Vosper KC.

Moses was represented by Peter Donnison and the prosecution by Roger Griffiths.
