Thames Water has confirmed that there are water issues in Eltham today.

Thames Water is one of the UK's largest water and wastewater services provider.

Serving more than 15 million customers in London and the Thames Valley, the company manages the region's water supply, treatment, and sewage disposal.

Earlier today (Thursday), a burst pipe impacted water supply to customers living on Cambridge Green in Eltham (SE9).

Engineers are currently on site and working to repair the pipe.

Thames Water has confirmed that customers should be back in supply but may continue to experience low water pressure while engineers complete repairs.

“We are working hard on getting things back to normal and thank you for your patience”, a Thames Water spokesperson added.

Any customers still without water are asked to call Thames Water on 0800 3169800.

A spokesperson for Thames Water said: “We are really sorry if you’ve had no water or are experiencing low water pressure.

“Earlier today a burst pipe impacted water supply to some customers. We have a team on site working through the night to repair the pipe.

“All customers should be back in supply but may continue to experience low water pressure while we complete the repair. Any customer still without water supply should get in touch on 0800 3169800.

“We are working hard on getting things back to normal and thank you for your patience.”
