March 13, 2001 9:28: Tottenham youngster Johnnie Jackson has been selected in the squad to play Poland in the European U18 Championship Intermediate Round at his home ground of White Hart Lane on Thursday, March 22nd.

Manager Martin Hunter is confident his team can gain victory over the two legs and go forward to play in the finals between 21st-29th July, and is calling for as many London football fans to turn up as possible.

England boast an impressive record against Poland at Under 18 level, winning seven, drawing three and losing just two of their past twelve encounters.

Tickets are priced at just £3 for adults and unaccompanied children. Children (under 16yrs) accompanied by an adult will be able to see the game free, as will OAP's.

So do try to get along and cheer on Johnnie and the rest of the England stars of the future.
