A MAN accused of gunning down a Tottenham man in a residential area is due in court today charged with murder.
Junior Collier, 27, of no fixed abode will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court today charged with the murder of 21-year-old Joseph Hylton, 22, in Tottenham, on May 7.
Police were called to reports of a shooting in Mount Pleasant Road at about 11.40am.
Mr Hylton, of Umfreville Road, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem gave cause of death as gunshot wound to the chest.
A 16-year-old boy, also arrested in connection with the investigation, has been released on bail pending further inquiries. He is due to surrender to police again on a date in June.
