A woman is pleading for help in tracking down her pet parrot which went missing at the weekend.
Jessica Vandesande, of Harringay Ladder, has offered a reward to anyone who is able to help her find her pet African Grey Parrot, called Smokey, who went missing on Saturday evening.
Mrs Vandesande said: “I can’t explain how important he is to us. He is one of the family and we miss him so much.
“I’ve been so worried about him and I just hope he is ok. When we found out he went missing I was so upset, I haven’t been able to eat properly. We just want him back safe and sound.”
The African Grey Parrot is a small grey bird and Mrs Vandesande says from a distance people may think it is a pigeon.
Mrs Vandesande is calling for people to check their gardens, trees, roofs and pavement as he may be hungry.
Anyone who thinks they have seen Smokey, or knows where he is, can contact 07412 757335.
