The court heard how at about 2pm on Tuesday, January 31, the victim was sitting in a barber’s chair having his hair cut when a large group of males from a north London gang walked by and saw him.

Four of the group forced their way into shop while the manager held the door closed to stop the others entering.

Inside the shop they fought with the victim who was stabbed three times in the back before they ran off with the rest of the group.

A member of the public flagged down a passing marked police vehicle of Trojan officers who secured the scene.

Officers then chased down by officers who detained the members of the gang and searched them finding an array of weapons including the knife used in the attack.
