Watford received a total of £113,895,527 in payments from the Premier League following the recently concluded season, it has been revealed.

The Hornets finished 11th in the table and received £19,185,180 for their efforts.

However, their end of season slump that saw them go from chasing seventh place to ending up in the bottom half of the table saw them drop an extra £7m that was recouped by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Furthermore, Watford did not receive as much television revenue as other clubs, with the Hornets appearing on live UK Premier League broadcasts on just ten occasions, the joint-fewest alongside Huddersfield, Southampton and Bournemouth.

Liverpool received the most money from the Premier League after the season, as their second place finish, coupled with 29 live television appearances, earned them a total of £152,425,146, which took them past champions Manchester City's total of £150,986,355.
