Former Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic has confirmed he has accepted a new job in the Qatar Stars League.
Jokanovic has been named as manager of Al Gharafa who play in the Qatari top flight, despite him recently being interviewed for the Middlesbrough vacancy, which has since been filled by Jonathan Woodgate.
Al Gharafa, who play their games at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium, have won the league four times since 2005 and have former Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Rangers player Vladimir Weiss in their squad.
The Serbian manager confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: "A new challenge starts, happy to become manager of
@ALGHARAFACLUB and looking forward to this project in the Qatar Stars League."
