Watford's former director of football Ross Wilson is set to be unveiled at Rangers, after departing his job at Southampton.
This morning the Saints confirmed Wilson would be leaving to join the Glasgow club in the same role he held at the Hornets.
The 36-year-old has been with the club since 2015 and is largely credited with Southampton's recent transfer success stories, including the signing of defender Virgil Van Dijk, who has since left for a hefty profit.
It is believed he will work alongside managing director Stewart Robertson and manager Steven Gerrard and will also take a seat on the board.
Wilson spent just over a year working at Vicarage Road from May 2011 until July 2012.
He has also spent time at Huddersfield Town and Falkirk.
