Watford's Cucho Hernandez scored his first goal while on loan at RCD Mallorca on Saturday as they beat Alaves.

The out-on-loan forward's second-half finish was the only goal of the game and finally gets him off the mark after a frustrating season so far in La Liga.

Hernandez scored six goals in 35 games on loan with Huesca last season, including strikes against both Barcelona and Real Madrid, after he helped them to achieve promotion into the Spanish top flight with 16 goals in the campaign before.

However, injuries ruled him out for the first-half of the current season and he was made to wait until December to make his debut.

Saturday's strike was his first goal in 11 games with the Balearic Island club.

Elsewhere, Ben Wilmot was recalled to the Swansea City starting 11 after a few games on the bench, as they shared eight goals with Hull City in a 4-4 draw and Pervis Estupinan kept a clean sheet in Osasuna's 1-0 away win at Athletic Bilbao.

Dimitri Foulquier was also in action in La Liga, as he played all 90 minutes of Granada's 2-1 win against Valladolid.
