Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor insists poison hate chants flung at him by Spurs fans would not stop him joining the club, one day.
The Togo hitman, on loan from Manchester City, scored twice against Spurs in the Champions League quarter-final at the Bernabeu, last month.
A torrent of abuse flew his way as a result, most of it insulting to his parents.
"I would go there and sign for them,” he insisted.
"I heard about the chants and I felt so bad because before joining Real Madrid, my first choice was Tottenham," said Adebayor.
“Maybe they were thinking like that because Adebayor was taking them out of the Champions League and ending their dream of getting to the final."
