Pupils at a school in Wood Green helped pick the winner of a national prize for the best science book for children.
Schoolchildren from Heartlands High School, in Station Road, helped pick the winner of this year’s Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize, Look Inside Space, by Rob Lloyd Jones
The winning book was picked from a shortlist chosen with the help of an expert adult panel of educationalists and scientists.
Students from the school are among more than 1,000 children from different schools and youth groups across the UK to help choose the winning book.
Each school, including Heartlands, chose a winner from six shortlisted books and submitted a vote.
