A section of dedicated Spurs fans will hold a minute’s applause at tonight’s Europa League fixture for a fellow supporter whose life was tragically cut short by cancer.
The 1882 Movement will remember Tom Van Haaren, who died at the age of just 23, by clapping in the 23rd minute of Tottenham’s second leg tie against FC Dnipro.
Tributes have been paid to the Spurs fan, who was part of the 1882 movement and a listener of fans podcast The Fighting Cock, on Twitter with the hashtag #ForTom.
Mr Van Haaren’s father and friends are expected to be in attendance at tonight’s game.
