Students at a college could be flying high in more ways than one after it announced a new business partnership with Stansted Airport.
Tottenham UTC in High Road, Tottenham will work with London Stansted Airport to drive engineering innovation and asset management as part of the school’s curriculum.
This is expected to help equip the next generation with the skills and experience required for a career within the aviation industry.
Deborah Ramm-Harpley, principal of Tottenham UTC, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Stansted Airport as the school’s eighth business partner.
“We believe that our students will benefit hugely from Stansted’s involvement and support both in terms of projects and work experience opportunities.
“We are confident that this new partnership will enable us to continue to evolve our curriculum whilst keeping it relevant to the industries our students are working towards a career in.”
