Haringey Law Centre is holding a free community legal training session for people wanting to represent Northumberland Park Ward residents at disability benefits appeals.
The course is at the Selby Centre on Thursday March 1 between 9:30am and 1pm.
Diane Morrison, an experienced welfare benefits solicitor at Hackney Community Law Centre and a former Citizens Advice Bureau welfare benefits caseworker, will lead the session.
Tenants’ support organisations, faith groups, women’s support groups, community groups, mental health workers, local advice agencies, local councillors, and people who regularly help residents with welfare benefits issues are welcome.
For more information or to book a free place contact Miranda on 07957 396 321 or email Miranda@haringeylawcentre.org.uk.
