Hills of Woodford Toyota have been supporting local charity Every Life Has A Purpose (ELHAP) for a number of years now. Hills applied for the Toyota UK Fund for a Better Tomorrow and Toyota kindly allowed Hills to donate to this amazing charity
ELHAP is a magical and unique charity, providing adventure play opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children, young people and adults. Since 1976, ELHAP have supported tens of thousands of disabled children. Each year, ELHAP Official attracts over 6,000 visits from across North East London and Essex.
Cycling is one of the most popular activities for their users. The children and young people with learning disabilities who attend ELHAP love to cycle along the paths that criss-cross their five-acre adventure playground and wild woodland.
While at ELHAP, the Hills of Woodford Toyota marketing team spoke to Rachel Joseph, head of development at ELHAP, who had some great words to share.
"We are so grateful to Toyota UK Fund For A Better Tomorrow and Hills of Woodford Toyota for giving us a grant to buy new bikes and biking equipment," said a delighted Rachel.
"ELHAP relies on donations like yours to be able to continue our work. Over the last year we have seen a massive increase in the number of users attending ELHAP – from 600 to 900 – so your support is even more important to us than ever."
Shona Hayes, marketing manager at Hills of Woodford Toyota, said how "proud" she is of Hills' involvement, and explained how important it is to continue to support local charities such as ELHAP and "are proud to be a part of the development of their centre in Woodford Bridge, Essex."
