Fly-tipping is an eyesore and a potential health hazard, and more than 21,000 illegal dumps were recorded in Haringey last year.
The council is looking to halve that number over the next four years through enforcement, education and engagement, as well as by increasing pride in the local area.
We joined the council’s enforcement team as they dealt with a fly-tip in Tottenham to find out how they go about catching and penalising those dumping illegal waste.
