Enfield Council has confirmed the dates for two by-elections that were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The local authority revealed by-elections for the Chase and Southbury wards will take place on Thursday, May 6.
It will publish the notice of election on its website on Monday, March 29.
The Southbury by-election follows the death of Labour councillor Chris Bond in July last year.
A by-election will be held in Chase following the departure of Labour’s Vicki Pite, who resigned from the council last year.
Local elections were postponed following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, amid concerns over its impact on campaigning and voting.
But with restrictions gradually being lifted, the Government has allowed them to go ahead from May.
It has set out a series of measures designed to ensure voting can take place in a “Covid-secure” way at polling stations. People can also apply to vote by post and by proxy.
The Mayor of London and London Assembly elections are also due to be held on May 6.
