A number of roads in Enfield are set to be temporarily closed due to roadworks, starting from tomorrow.

The details of the closures are outlined in notices placed by Enfield Council in this week’s edition of the Enfield Independent.

The closures will only apply as and when directed by traffic signs.

Traffic is due to be prevented from using part of Old Park Ridings N21 from tomorrow until highway improvement works are completed.

When the closures are in place, traffic will be diverted via Green Dragon Lane, World’s End Lane, Bincote Road, Slades Hill, Windmill Hill and Old Park Ridings.

Resurfacing work is due to lead to the overnight closure of a section of Brownlow Road N11 on Friday from 8pm until 5am.

Vehicles will be diverted via the A406 North Circular Road and Bounds Green Road.

Resurfacing works is set to cause disruption to motorists using Cannon Hill N14 from 8am to 6pm on Tuesday.

During these times, southbound traffic will be prevented from entering, proceeding, waiting and loading between The Green and Aldermans Hill.

There will also be no left turn from Cannon Road, Selborne Road and The Mall, and no right turn from Greenacre Walk.

During these times, the diversion route will be The Green, Waterfall Road, Morton Way, Wilmer Way and Powys Lane.

Utility works are due to lead to the temporary closure of the service road fronting Nos. 17 to 43 Enfield Road and a part of Links Side EN2 for an overall period of 10 days from Monday.

During the times when traffic is prevented from using Links Side at its junction with Enfield Road, the alternative route will be via Enfield Road and Bincote Road.

A section of Muswell Avenue N10 is due to be temporarily closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Thursday, March 18 for sewer cleaning.
