A survey set up to gauge residents’ views on a major redevelopment proposal that includes a 26-storey tower block closes this week.
The Enfield Society wants people to share their views on plans by DWS – a division of Deutsche Bank – to redevelop the Palace Exchange and Palace Gardens shopping centres in Enfield Town.
A survey on the proposals, which will close on Thursday, March 18, is available here.
The Enfield Society and charity Civic Voice will hold online public meetings to present the results of the survey on Monday, March 22 at 1pm and Thursday, March 25 at 7pm.

DWS unveiled plans to create what it calls a “a modern food, leisure and living experience in the heart of Enfield” in October last year.

In addition to the tower block, its proposals feature new cafes, restaurants, co-working spaces, shops, a gym, a boutique cinema and space for pop-up stores and food trucks.
MPs Bambos Charalambous and Feryal Clark criticised the tower block plans at a meeting in February, warning they would harm the character and heritage of Enfield Town and calling for them to be reworked.
