A murder probe has been launched following a shooting in Hornsey.
Police were called at approximately 1.10am this morning (Friday, May 28) to reports of gunshots near Turnpike Lane and Willoughby Road.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all rushed to the scene.
A man, believed aged in his 20s, was found suffering a gunshot injury; he was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.55am.

BREAKING: A young man in his 20s has been shot dead in #Hornsey, north-London, in the early hours of this morning.
Met Police say at 01:10 they were called to reports of a firearm discharge in the vicinity of Turnpike Lane and Willoughby Road, N8.

His next of kin have been informed.
A crime scene remains in place at the location.
There have been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
