Motorists and residents may face disruption due to the temporary closure of two streets in and around Enfield for roadworks.
The extent of the closures are detailed in notices published in this week’s edition of the Enfield Independent, along with other restrictions that may be introduced while the works are carried out.
A section of Briary Lane N9 is set to be closed for three weeks from October 18 for utility works.
The road will be shut from its junction with Sweet Briar Grove, and waiting and loading restrictions will also be in place from this junction to a point approximately 70m west of it.
The diversion route will be via Sweet Briar Grove, Chalfont Road, Hazelbury Grove and vice versa.
Also from October 18, more utility works are due to close a section of Thornaby Gardens N18 for five days.
During this time traffic will be prevented from entering or proceeding along the eastern arm of the road at its junction with Stockton Road.
Waiting and loading restrictions will also be put in place from this junction to a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3.
The alternative route will be via Stockton Road and Thornaby Gardens and vice versa.
