A driver fled the scene of a car crash leaving behind an injured female passenger.
Police were called to Mollison Avenue in Brimsdown shortly after 12.30am this morning (August 8).
Officers, along with emergency service personnel from the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service, found a car at the scene that had crashed into a traffic pole.
The driver of the car is believed to have fled the scene, leaving an injured woman behind.
She was rushed to hospital to be treated for her injuries, which have been described as not life-threatening.
Mollison Avenue between Bilton Way and Ordnance Road have been shut throughout the morning while police investigate the incident.r
