A teenage boy has been rushed to the hospital after he was found with stab injuries in Haringey this morning.

Met Police officers were on routine patrol at 6.20am when they were approached by a member of public in West Green Road.

The man told the officers that he saw the victim with multiple wounds near Turnpike Lane tube station.

London Ambulance Service were called, but Met Police said their officers gave the boy first aid before the paramedics arrived.

He was treated further at the scene before being taken to a hospital. His condition, the police added, is not life-threatening or life-changing.

The police believe the boy was attacked at the junction of Green Lanes. Several crime scenes and some road closures are put in place following the incident.

No arrests have been made so far, but officers have urged anyone with information to contact the police on 101 quoting reference CAD 1442/3 Dec.
