HUNDREDS of people are expected at a festival this afternoon in one of Haringey's largest and most popular parks.
The fourth annual Restore the Rec festival is taking place in Lordship Recreation Ground between 1pm and 5pm, showcasing work that has been done to improve the park and future plans for the area.
Organisers have laid on a horticulture show, sports activities and games, nature walks, and live music throughout the afternoon in the park, in Lordship Lane, Totenham.
The festival is free to attend, having been launched in 2007 as a way of raising residents' awareness of the park and what it has to offer.
