POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Finsbury Park.

The 43-year-old was taken to hospital after he was attacked in the area between the pond and the running track on Wednesday, May 4.

A white man and a black man approached him at around 11.10pm and robbed him, officers say.

They have appealed for anyone who may have seen the men, both in their late 20s and of muscular build, running away from the scene.
