Two teenagers accused of wounding a toddler and attempting to rob his mother will appear at Highgate Magistrates Court today.
A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy are accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a three-year-old boy in an assault which left him with a fractured leg.
The youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were bailed after appearing at court yesterday.
The pair are also accused of attempting to rob the child’s 20-year-old mother of her handbag in the robbery in Philip Lane, Tottenham, on Sunday, March 25.
The 15-year-old is also accused of assaulting a police community support officer in the same incident.
