Haringey Borough’s 14-match winning run ended on Tuesday night after a 1-0 defeat at Stansted.
Boro’s loss has narrowed their lead at the top of the Essex Premier Division to three points over Barking after their second defeat of the season.
The team came into the match on a 15-match unbeaten run but Haringey were undone by a Stansted goal ten minutes into the second half.
It was a disappointing display from Boro as they failed to find a goal to preserve their recent record.
Haringey will hope to bounce back this weekend at home to Tower Hamlets.
Tom Loizou’s side follow this up with a home clash against Sawbridgeworth Town in the Gordon Brasted Trophy semi-final.
